Interesting article about the World Cup and the increase in drunk driving charges worldwide. One common problem is that a night of heavy drinking and partying can result in someone being still impaired the next morning. I’ve handled countless cases where clients awoke the next morning still impaired at well above a BAC of .08.

Studies in Europe show that 51 per cent of drivers have unintentionally driven the morning after while still being over the legal blood alcohol limit. With the first England group match happening tomorrow, the company has put together a short guide to help fans avoid “doing a Ferdinand.” Our local hostelries will be heaving with local soccer fans for the duration of the tournament until July 11. So, it seems to me this advice should be offered for “consumption” here.
